Very Easy & Classic Masoor Dal Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of Masoor Dal

  • 2 ½ cup water

  • 3 spoons vegetable Oil

  • 1 onion & 2 Tomato

  • 1 spoon Red chilli, Ginger, White cumin & ½ spoon salt

  • 4 cloves garlic

  • ½ spoon of turmeric & mace

  • 1 chicken knur cube

Directions

  • First of all, Clean Dal perfectly & soak it in water for 3 hours
  • Take a pot and heat it by adding ghee and then add finely chopped onion and brown it lightly
  • When the onion becomes lightly browned, Add spices ( Garlic ginger paste, tomatoes, turmeric, mace, red chilli & chopped dry coriander)
  • Now add Masoor Dal in pot and fry it
  • When the water dries up and starts releasing ghee, add chopped green chillies and green coriander and apply it on the tail for five minutes
  • Now take it off, Your Masoor Dal is ready

Let start my recipe:

Step 1:

First of all, Clean the masoor dal perfectly, Then keep it for 3  hours Soak in water Take a pot and heat it by adding ghee and then add finely chopped onion and brown it lightly.

Step 2:

When the onion becomes lightly browned,

Then ADD:

  • spoonful of garlic ginger paste
  • Two chopped tomatoes
  • Half a spoon of turmeric
  • One pinch of mace
  • One spoon of red chilli & chopped dry coriander

Add little more water and fry it properly.

Step 3:

Take out the dal from the water and add a little water and add a cup of water to fry it. Reduce the heat so that the dal is cooked well on a low flame And don’t even break the grain.

Last Step:

When the water dries up and starts releasing ghee, add chopped green chillies and green coriander and apply it on the tail for five minutes. Now take it off and grind half. Garnish the dish by adding a spoonful of hot spices and eat it with hot roti or naan.
