People like it as break-fast and enjoy it`s sweet taste. Dalia is light weight and easy to digest. Actually, its sweet taste made it popular Sweet Dish. If we say in which country Dalia is popular? I prefer it is most popular in India. Some other Asian countries like it such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bangel etc.

Dalia can be made as a vegetable khichdi or a spiced version, and for a sweet option, you can cook it with milk and sugar. Today I make a sweet dalia. It is good for diabetics. Dalia is a perfect choice for daily meals because it offers nutrition, taste, and satisfaction at the same time.

Sweet Dalia Recipe:

Sweet Dalia is generally made up by spilt wheat, milk, sugar & some dried fruits for additional taste.

So look out our recipe and try a new taste of sweet Dalia:

Step 1:

First of all, Take 2 cups of Dalia & rinse it Perfectly. Take a pot on flame and add 2 spoon of Ghee. when Ghee open, take pot on low flame.

Step 2:

Now add Dalia in pot at low flame and start fry it for 5-6 minutes. Add 1½ litre water in it and leave it for an hour at low flame.

Step 3:

After one hour, Take flame medium on, add 1½ cup of sugar in it and add 1 litre milk. Cook it for 10 minutes. Now off the flame and leave it for 4-5 minutes . After 5 minutes, Dish out your Dalia in plate.

Last Step:

After dish out your Dalia, sprinkle a little dried fruit for additional taste. Now your Dalia is ready to eat – Enjoy it!

Easy & Classic Recipe of Sweet Dalia

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of Dalia

  • 2 spoons of Ghee

  • 1½ litre water

  • 1½ cup of sugar

  • 1 litre milk

  • little dried fruit

  • Some Fruits
